The level of previous experience varies depending on the course, details of this can be found on the individual course content pages. The training days can be taken either one at a time, or condensed together over a set period of time.
We pride ourselves on managing the courses in such a way that allows you to complete the course requirements and homework at your own pace, making sure that you have the confidence and competence to advance through each stage.
All training manuals and written instructions are provided for each step of your studies and a certificate for each stage is awarded. All courses attended require practice and study, in your own time following the course, to perfect the application learned.
A Manual or study notes are provided on all of our courses for home study. On some of the courses homework is set and can be completed in your own time. This is not compulsory, but if done, can be sent to us for marking. Once marked this is returned to the student to place in her portfolio of evidence for NVQ purposes.
All our courses offer CPD points – Continuing Personal or Professional Development – which is the term that describes a commitment to structured skills enhancement and personal or professional competence.
The CPD Certification Service helps organisations provide certified CPD and acts as a point of contact for those seeking to obtain certified CPD material. It supports further learning initiatives being undertaken by Government, professional institutions, trade associations, individual organisations, and training providers.
The purchase of a training kit or products required for the training day is essential. These are purchased from College Kits Direct in advance of the training date.
